I hope you all had a great
Memorial Day weekend! I know I did!
Let us never forget the sacrifices of others that allow us to enjoy the
freedoms we hold so dear.
Now for the updates:
I added more Member Sites
as usual!
Also added Simple
DNS Plus to Server Software
which is software to run your own DNS servers from home. Might be
interesting to some of you. It's not free, but may be worth it if
you really need it.
Finally,
I'm looking a for a few volunteers who are willing to be moderators in
our online
forums. The forums have grown quite a bit
and it's become impossible for me to keep track of everything myself.
If you are interested, drop me an email
and we'll talk about it.

I added a new webserver
software to our Server Software section.
It's called Small
HTTP Server and it supports HTTP, FTP, SMTP, DNS, POP3, and Perl.
Seems very interesting. You have to register after a time period
but registration is only $12. May be worth it.
A few more entries to our
Member
Sites page. Check it out.

I am very happy to announce
that we now have a new advertiser for our site! Remember, our advertisers
make this site possible so we thank them for their support. Please
visit our newest advertiser by clicking on the banner below.

We
also have several new entries on our Member
Sites page. Make sure to take a look and see what other people
are doing!
One
thing that I've been thinking about lately is the lack of Step-by-Step
articles for port forwarding. We have two for the Linksys router,
but none for the dozens of other types of routers out there. I personally
cannot write a guide for every router out there, but maybe you guys can.
If you are interested in putting together a short and sweet Step-by-Step
article on how to enable port forwarding on your particular brand router,
please drop me an email.
We'll work out the details.
