January

Well,
January is over and I'm still not used to writing or typing "2003".
I still accidentally put down "2002" when I'm not careful. Time really
flies...
This
week, I added a webcam to the website.
It's just a small page that has a picture that is updated every 30 seconds.
It's an interesting picture I think, take a look. I'll write the
accompanying "How-To" article soon. Thanks to ConquerCam
for providing me with the webcam software.

This
week I added a search function to the website.
Try it out and let me know what you think. It's powered by Atomz.com
which is a company that supplies search tools and more. I've add
them to the Tests/Tools page as well.
Also, I'm looking for advertisers
for this website. So if you're looking for some good exposure for
your website or product, drop me an email
and we'll set something up.

This
week I finished a new Step-by-Step guide.
It may useful to a lot of you guys who run Perl scripts.
I have
a few more articles in mind, but I'd like to hear from you on which topics
you'd like to see covered. Drop me an email
and let me know what you want.
I also updated the Site
Info page. I know, I know, it was out of date for a long time.
Now it has even more pictures. Yes, I know I have funky wallpaper.
I've
been playing with a lot of wireless 802.11b equipment and I think this
stuff is awesome. It's rather expensive, but the prices are dropping
pretty quickly. Hopefully I'll get some hardware reviews of the equipment
online soon.
Oh,
a quick reminder. If you know anybody who you think would enjoy this
site, please tell them about it by using the Tell
a Friend button on the left menu bar. Thanks!

Happy
2003! Today is January 1 which means there are going to be a ton
of college bowl games on television for the next few days.
Time
really does fly by quickly. This website has now been online for
over 2 years. Has it really been that long? It's pretty neat
to see how this website has evolved over time. Right now our online
forums have over 2000 members! I think
that is impressive. Thanks to all you guys who have made this website
so successful!
More
Member
Sites entries as usual. Keep them coming. It's really neat
to see what you guys are doing.
I also added a new mail server
software in the server software section.
It's called MailEnable.
Take a look, I've heard really good things about it. And it's free!
