I want to wish everybody
a Happy New Years on this New Years Eve. 2001 has been a crazy year,

I added some stuff to the
Terminal Services Server and Client articles to show to change the default
port number of 3389 to something of your own choosing.
I also added some info on how
to password protect the Terminal Services Advanced Client login webpage.
There is also a new diagram
(actually, a modification of an old diagram) in our Diagramssection.

First I would like to wish
everybody a belated Merry Christmas. I hope you had a great time
celebrating this holiday season with your family and friends. I sure
did. Wow, it's been a while since I've updated this front page.
School has been pretty busy. Most of my days are spend in the lab
working on my project. I'm still around so don't you worry.
I have a new Step-by-Step
article ready for you guys. It's called: Creating
a Mixed Static/Dynamic LAN IP Network. This article shows you
how to have your server use a static IP number while the rest of your network
uses dynamically assigned IP numbers. Many of you already have this
setup, but I thought it would be good to get this concept down on paper,
so to speak.
