The daughter card has an
attachment to the input buttons and LCD screen on the back of the Qube.
When I first got the Qube, I noticed that it rattled quite a bit.
Turns out that the LCD screen was loose and rattled on the PCB. So
I whipped out my hot glue gun and glued the LCD firmly to the PCB.

Finally, the whole thing
is disassembled. I hope I can get it back together! I have
emails to respond to on the hard disk! I don't know about you, but
where else can you find a website that will take apart it's working
mail server just so people can look inside? The things I do for you
guys! Crap, I do hope I can put it back together....

The original Gateway Micro
Server cover. Compared to the Cobalt cover, it's not very attractive
is it?

If I had a small office with
several employees, I would definitely buy a Qube to handle all my server
needs. It does many things and does them well. Plus it is small,
doesn't use much power, reliable, and really cool looking. If your
business needs a server and you don't have a massive IT team, then you
should give the Qube series a close look.
I hoped you enjoyed the tour
of this little guy.
